Welcome to Caritas Group Practice
Caritas Group Practice are proud to have been awarded a silver award accreditation in Gay, Lesbian and Trans care.
Caritas Group Practice is open every week day from 8am to 6:30pm daily
Telephone Consultations take place every morning at all three Caritas sites. We have surgeries running every morning and afternoon and evening at our Main Site and a long consolidated surgery running at both our Branch Sites.
For details of the surgery times please see our website or our practice leaflet.
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
The clinicians at Caritas Group have a wide range of skills and qualifications to provide high quality care. We work as a team and assess which clinician has the most appropriate skill for every individual patient's presenting problem. By working in this way we are able to ensure that each individual has their needs met by the most suitable clinician.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
We have a range of clinicians who, as well as their clinical work, undertake teaching and assessment of other healthcare practitioners. These include qualified nurses, doctors and nursing/medical students who are undertaking professional education and training courses. At all times trainees are supervised by a senior clinician.
We can provide excellent learning experiences in the practice and we hope that patients will be pleased to be part of this. You will always be asked if you consent to having a student/trainee present during a consultation.
Occasionally a clinician may want to video record his/her consultations for study to help them improve their skills; again you will be asked if you consent to this, and you are free to say no.
We would like to thank all our patients who see those colleagues who are training and gaining experience in the Practice. It is vital for their development and in building a future workforce for the NHS. Thank you.
